Sinkhole Swallows Three Vehicles In Chicago

One man reported injured as his vehicle slides into sinkhole in Chicago.

Chicago, IL - On Thursday, WGN-TV reported that an enormous sinkhole swallowed three vehicles, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The sinkhole was reported around 5:15 a.m. at the 9600 block of S. Houston in the Jeffrey Manor (South Deering) neighborhood when two vehicles fell into the hole.
Another driver of a vehicle unaware of the sinkhole apparently also fell into it. He was reported seriously injured and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and is listed in critical condition, according to Chicago Fire Department.
