31-year-old Man Facing Three Homicide Charges In Lafayette County

Triple murder suspect arrested by Waukesha police.

Waukesha,  WI - On Sunday, Jaren M. Kuester, 31, of Waukesha was taken into custody in connection with a triple homicide in Lafayette County on the same day. Kuester was arrested around 3:00 p.m. at the Willow Park apartment complex, 1001 Delafield St. after a brief standoff.
Kuester was taken back to Lafayette County to face murder charges and remains in jail. Homicide charges could be filed by Tuesday.
He is facing three homicide charges for the deaths of Gary L. Thoreson, 70, his wife Cloe A. Thoreson, 66, and brother Dean W. Thoreson, 76, all of South Wayne, Wisconsin. Their bodies were discovered on Sunday. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office sent out an alert of a missing truck from the crime scene. A stolen blue 1998 Ford F-130 truck taken from the murder scene.
Kuester's abandoned vehicle was found about six miles from where the Toreson's bodies were discovered in Wiota Township. Kuester did not know the Thoresons, according to Lafayette authorities.
